Scroll Tear Drop Earrings

These pretty decorative earrings are inspired by the form of antique tear drop earrings, but concieved and executed with a contemporary twist.

A domed tear drop shape has been fly pressed from silver with a decorative scroll etched pattern, which is then soldered on to a flat frilly tear drop shape. This has been attached to a flower stud, which has an 18ct gold setting and dazzling yellow sapphire stones. The whole earring has been enamelled with vibrant yellow cold enamel.
