A playful element is really important to me when I’m designing and I try to design ranges that have very strong, distinct lines and shapes, as well as an animated look – laundry blowing in the wind, a creature that is caught in the middle of doing something mischievous or something insane – like a dog riding a moped – rather than something rigid and serious. I think there is enough of that in our everyday lives as it is!
